Pre-primary school

Young children learn best through play. The teachers in our pre-primary school organise play-based pedagogical activities to prepare the children for primary school with the use of development goals. This free-flowing pedagogical approach helps manage a child’s development between ages three and five, when it is very unstable and notoriously difficult to predict. By keeping track of wellbeing and involvement, our experienced teachers ensure a high interest level and relaxing learning experience for the children, thus ensuring maximum learning efficiency.

Our development goals are centred around following topics:

  • > Personal faith and socio-emotional development
  • > Mathematical intuitions
  • > Language sensitivity, ICT-skills and initial literacy
  • > Creative expression
  • > Understanding the world
  • > Physical development

Pre-primary school children at El Shaddai International School enjoy a challenging and safe learning environment in which they grow at their own pace. Children who finish our pre-primary programme will have received excellent preparation to advance to our primary school.
